Studios on the Park in downtown Paso Robles is opening a new show Saturday night entitled “The Short Story Collection: Narrative Gowns and Feminine Histories.”
Saturday evening, guests can meet the featured artists, including Leticia Perez Grover, whose work is entitled “Symbiosis.”
Her materials include a Second-hand lace dress, Natural leaf used as a stencil, a green wool blend thrift store short jacket, lichen, found Monarch butterfly, dried flowers, and Embroidery threads.
Her work and other gowns stand in a grove in the center of studios.
At 6:30, guests may learn how the gowns tell their own stories. Orion Stang will pour his Dilecta Wines. Azure Tres will perform blues, soul and roots-rock music. Art After Dark is the first Saturday of every month at Studios on the Park.
