Central to the goals of Studios on the Park is the education of all ages about art and artists. Adults and children are encouraged to explore the visual arts and creative process through a diverse lineup of lectures, classes, workshops, activities, exhibition-related special events and more. Discover works of art in our studios, make your own masterpiece, listen to a lecture, or participate in a tour. Our wide range of innovative programs is designed to inspire the artist within each of us!
Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for all Studios sponsored classes with fees (classes conducted by individual artists are subject to the registration requirements set-forth by the artist instructor). Space is limited, so register early. Walk-ins will be accommodated only if space is available.
Sign-language interpreters are available for an additional fee for classes requiring pre-registration. Ten-day advance notice is required.
This is the preferred method of registration. Please call 805.238.9800.
Available up to 5 days before the first class begins. Registrations will accepted by phone after this time if space is available. For more information, email Sarah Ambrose at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Payment with cash or check (payable to Studios on the Park) is preferred. If paying with a credit card, only MasterCard and Visa will be accepted.
If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, you must cancel one week in advance to receive a refund. The fee may be applied to a future class if canceling less than one week in advance. Please note that classes with visiting instructors often have non-refundable deposits.
Unless otherwise indicated, all listed classes are held in Studios on the Park, located at 1130 Pine Street between 11th Street and 12th Street.
Photographs may be taken by Studios staff during classes and used for promotional purposes.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Clay projects will be fired and available for pick-up at a later date.
