JT's Pick of the Week: Art after Dark Paso
Back to school time may be right around the corner, but there is plenty of summertime left to savor on the Central Coast. And since Dave has called for some wonderful evening temperatures in Northern San Luis Obipo, Art After Dark in Paso is my Pick of the week if you are looking to get Out and About this weekend. Art after Dark is held the first Saturday of every month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Paso Robles. It's basically a free self-guided art walk where you can stop and check out local artists at the galleries and wine tasting rooms in town. Each of them offers something a little different. For instance, Studios in the park with have Jill Knight playing and will be serving Ancient Peaks Wines. Heritage Gallery West will be introducing a new artist from Russia and serving wine and cheese. And LXV Wine Lounge will be serving up it's wines, plus what it calls what they call Indian Culinary Art, inspired by Executive Chef Dakota Weiss.
