Seventh annual Paso Arts Fest: Celebrating a world filled with color
The seventh annual Paso ArtsFest returned to City Park on Saturday. The day included a fine art show, art workshops, a public mural project, hands-on children's and teen art stations, live music, dance performances, a wine lounge and other activities. The event is organized by and raises money for Paso Robles' Studios on the Park, a nonprofit organization that offers fine art programs to adults and children.
New art in Paso Art Fest
The seventh annual PASO ARTSFEST took over City Park in downtown Paso Robles today. Works from 80 artists from across the globe were also available for auction. They were called wet paintings because the artists painted them while staying this week on the Central Coast. Kids could try their hand at painting as well or build sand castles. Another fun sight there today: an actual steamroller cranking out prints on the streets.
Pass of the arts
Don't pass on the annual Paso Artsfest, held May 22 to 24, with the main event May 23, at the Downtown City Park. Andrew Wyeth (as quoted in Life Magazine) "My God, when you really begin to peer into something, a simple object, and realize the profound meaning of that thing - if you have an emotion about it, there's no end."
