Local public transit is working with some young artists to make public buses more beautiful.

The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority and South County Area Transit held their "Youth Art in Motion" unveiling ceremony earlier today at the Studios on the Park.

North County students showcased their artwork in five RTA buses. City officials and art experts spoke at the event. A large mural was mounted on a bus featuring local hotspots from Morro Bay to the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center. RTA plans to continue the showcase for several months.
