Arte de Tiza

Art and food will converge at the 12th annual Taste of Downtown planned for September 19 in Paso Robles.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. participants can sample the creations of more than 30 local restaurants, a brewery, wineries, ice cream shops and coffee houses.

Tickets are $25, with proceeds benefitting the Paso Robles Main Street Association's free holiday events.

The same day, ticket holders can also experience the Paso Robles Art Association's eight annual Arte de Tiza, a chalk-art celebration with murals created by area artists on the sidewalk of Pine Street between 11th and 12th streets in downtown.

[From PRAA Press Release: Arte de Tiza is sponsored by the Paso Robles Art Association, Rabobank, Santa Lucia Bank, First Bank of San Luis Obispo, Optimist Club of Paso Robles, and WalMart. It will begin at 8 a.m. the morning of the Taste. Prizes will be given in several categories. Proceeds from this fundraising event go to an Art Scholarship awarded in June to a PR High School senior.
