Since the beginning of time, humans have been moving around in large groups from one spot to another.
Studios on the Park in Paso Robles wants your artistic take on that process in its upcoming exhibit, Migrations.
Human migrations often occur at moments of political and religious unrest, undoubtedly affecting the social and global landscape of the hospitable land. Cultures are then forever shaped by successive waves of immigration.
Studios on the Park is opening this juried exhibition up to artists of all media. Digital submissions will be accepted from until Dec. 14, and physical submissions will be accepted Dec. 13 and 14. The artists selected to have their work displayed in the Migrations exhibit will be announced on Dec. 16. The exhibit will kick off with a reception on Jan. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will be up through Jan. 31. Unsold works can be picked up at the studio on Jan. 31 from 5 to 6 p.m. and on Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon.
