While spring seems ages away as we bundle up and prepare for Christmas, it’ll be here before you know it. May brings flowers as well as the annual Paso Artsfest!
Submissions for artists are currently open for the event now through Dec. 31. The main event of Paso Artsfest is an outdoor festival that will take place on May 28 in the Paso Robles City Park. The event, which is free to the public, features a fine art sale, a wet painting and charity auction, a local stars quick-draw, the kids art smart zone, hands-on CREATEspace for teens and adults, live music and performances, and what could be arguably the best wine bar in the country.
Last year the festival drew 8,000 visitors. To apply to have your work included in the event, visit studiosonthepark.org. Applicants will need to fill out separate applications for each medium even if they are multi-disciplined.
