Studios on the Park in Paso Robles will reopen to the public on June 15, 2020. Studios temporarily suspended operations on March 13 out of concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.

It may seem like the whole world is essentially shut down, but artists are busily making art, galleries are working hard to find ways to connect to patrons and art lovers, and the work of art education marches on in many different forms.

I walk into Studios on the Park on an unusually cold Paso Robles day, and head toward the back of the gallery where the workshop studio is located. As I move through the gallery I see Javier Manrique's paintings lining the walls. The works make up his exhibit, The Calling, on display at the Studios on the Park until March 1.

It's one of California's best-kept secrets-but not for long. Keeping the Faith: An Artistic Celebration of Judaism opens at Studios on the Park in Paso Robles on Thursday, Jan. 2, and will run through Sunday, Jan. 26. This art and film showcase features more than 70 artworks depicting Jewish heritage, culture, and traditions.

During the winter season, fine art gallery Studios on the Park transforms into a holiday gift shop. Gallerygoers and holiday shoppers alike can find handmade art pieces at accessible price points between the art-lined walls.

Forty contemporary painters. Forty master paintings inspired by them. These 80 works are free to the public for viewing at Studios on the Park until Nov. 17. The exhibition-California Impressionists: The Masters & The Greats They Inspire-is described as a landmark in the Paso Robles gallery's 10-year history.
