What's in a name?
Studios on the Park in Paso Robles will play host to an untitled exhibit of paintings by Allen Cox, Braeden Cox, and Tom Peck through Nov. 23. Allen and Braeden both deal in abstraction, while Peck paints figures, including the likes of Patsy Cline, Jack Kerouac, Honey Boo Boo's mother, and Henri Matisse (pictured here). Art imitates Paso
Erin Hanson: Works of Paso Robles, an exhibit of bold, impasto-style paintings by said artist, will be on display at Studios on the Park, Oct. 2 to 26. A live painting demo and opening reception will be held Oct. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., respectively. Attendees of the reception will have a chance to win an original painting, reproduction, and coffee table book. Public invited to Art After Dark Paso Sept. 6
Art After Dark Paso is a wine and art stroll through the art galleries and art-filled wine tasting rooms of historic downtown Paso Robles. The next event is Sept. 6. Touted locally as a great way to start a Saturday night, it offers attendees a casual, fun introduction to the fantastic artists who reside and ply their trade in Paso Robles, served up with a healthy dose of Paso Robles wines.
