Sometimes it’s hard to get inspired as an artist, performer, or writer. For instance, I’m totally out of jokes for this third Hot Date. Sorry people. But thankfully local artist and performer Al Schnupp never seems to suffer from this problem, and his work speaks volumes for itself. “Finding the Metaphor” is a collection of his assemblages and sculptures inspired by theater. Each of Schnupp’s works is a visual interpretation of a classic, modern, or original play. His work will be on display until April 28 and he will have a reading of his original play work, CrossRoads, on April 20 at 7 p.m. Studios on the Park is located at 1130 Pine St. in Paso Robles.
