"Marine Flow" was created using a flow technique where clear and colored glass strips were stacked randomly within a square brick dam. Stephanie then let it flow at a high temperature in the kiln, creating a look resembling a sunset over water 🌅

Join Stephanie this Saturday to explore the art of kiln formed glass in a free demo! Stop by between 3-5pm to see this fascinating process.

Patterns and colors and textures, oh my! 😍

How lovely is this mixed media piece by @hollybeals?! This summer, Holly will be hosting TWO opportunities to learn how to create your own colorful, playful interpretation of dried flowers in a vase! 🎨💐

Holly will guide you from start to finish, using a variety of techniques including the use of paint pens and a rubber shaper, along with collage application. Each class will focus on a floral + vase combination, with focuses on pattern, color, and texture.

✨Meet our July Featured Artists!✨

Debra Jurey and Stephanie Wilbanks (@wilbanksstudio) are two of our talented Associate Artists. Debra specializes in intricate jewelry made with colorful and unique beads, combining quality craftsmanship with organic naturalism. Stephanie's art form is beautiful kiln formed glass which celebrates the drama of light and color.

Their work can be seen in our front window for the month of July, and can always be found in our Up Front Gift Shop! Debra's work is also featured in our current Artsy Adornments exhibition. And, don't miss a unique opportunity to see these artists at work: on July 27th from 3-5pm, Debra and Stephanie will both be demoing their crafts for free at Studios on the Park! Drop by and see the process behind their works of art.
