Local teens Megan Roberts, 14, left and Kali Sorensen, 13, along with about 13 other youths and Paso Robles youth community art leaders painted a mobile art display at Centennial Park on Wednesday to show respect for cultural diversity.
The San Luis Obispo County YMCA after-school program's No Place for Hate campaign inspired the effort. Similar efforts are taking place in various forms throughout the county
Teens from the YMCA Teen Extreme after-school program, Club Sol, worked on it in Paso Robles with others in the local art community including the nonprofit art center Studios on the Park. Artist and civil rights historian Henry A. J. Ramos led the teens.
