Under the guidance of instructor Brad Golden, you’ll shape, texturize, fire and polish silver clay to reveal a finished piece of jewelry you’ll be proud to wear (or gift). Whether you’re flying solo, coming with a friend, or making it a parent-and-teen experience, this workshop is a fun, creative way to spend your Saturday morning.
In the first hour, we’ll begin with introductions and then start learning about and working with this fascinating medium, molding and shaping a pendant design. Class will then break for one hour in order to ‘fire’ everyone’s pieces in a kiln. Then in the last hour, we’ll sand, file and polish our pieces.
All tools are provided for use during class and necklace chains will be available for purchase (or feel free to bring your own).
