This class is the part of a series of classes featuring hand stitched projects. Slow Stitch is a trendy phrase for hand sewing worked in a peaceful deliberate manner which helps us unwind from the hustle of our modern lives. So relax with us and stitch away the week.
This class will focus on utilizing embroidery stitches to make handy towel rings. What are towel rings and why are they handy? They hang over the oven door handle with a dish towel threaded through the rings to keep the towel in place. These make a wonderful hostess gift.
Motif ideas will be available in class, or you can bring your own design ideas, keeping in mind our design space is 2” x 7”. Everything else is provided in class.
- Included in class fee: floss, floss bobbin, needles, wooden rings, fabric, twill tape, fusible tape, and everything else needed for the project.
- Additional supplies will be available for sale, should you like to make more outside of class.
- The following tools are also available for use in class: thread snips, marking tools, iron.
