Torch-Fired Enameling

Torch-fired enameling is a fun, approachable way to add bold color and glass-like shine to metal jewelry — and in this hands-on class, you’ll get to experience the magic of it for yourself! Using a handheld torch, you’ll learn how powdered enamel transforms into a smooth, vibrant surface right before your eyes.

This workshop is designed for curious beginners as well as makers who want to expand their creative toolbox. No prior enamel or jewelry-making experience is required — just a willingness to experiment, play, and learn something new in a relaxed, supportive environment.

What We’ll Do

Over the course of the class, you’ll:

• Learn what enamel is and how it works on metal
• Get comfortable working with a torch in a safe, guided way
• Apply enamel and watch it transform as it fires
• Explore color possibilities and surface effects
• Create finished enamel jewelry components to take home
