The Art of Music
with Larry Le Brane & Gary Kramer Guitar Cellars

Friday, August 18: 6 pm

Start your weekend off with a fun evening of art-tales, tastings and surprises.

Discover Larry Le Brane’s creative journey to make his music-inspired sculpture in a lively presentation, “The Art of Music.” Learn firsthand about his artistic process to prepare for Studios on the Park’s current exhibit, Three-Part Harmony, which features Larry, and artwork by painter Colleen Gnos and sculptor Michael Reddell.

Using stories, photos, and humor, Larry will share how he begins his art-making with only a playful clue—a note--no clear outcome in mind. Hear how he riffed away with repurposed musical instruments and unusual materials for months, building momentum to his final collection of whimsical and provocative sculptures, including fused-glass fish, racecars, transformed weapons, and his newest narrative glass shoes!

Enjoy light refreshments and local Gary Kramer Guitar Cellars' flagship Syrah and Albariño. Gary Kramer was a guitar-world pioneer for decades. Today he uses that same passion to make wine and olive oil in his Paso Robles “Linger Longer Lounge” spacious, two-story wine bar and museum, which features more than 50 rare and custom one-off guitars. Tastings will be offered at $8/glass. Come early and stay late to explore the unique collection by these Central Coast artisans!
