Printmaker Rosey Rosenthal’s Mythic-Fantasy Art displays his visions of powerful gods, fantastic creatures, legendary heroes and seductive femme fatales. For Rosenthal, the exhibition is unique to the Central Coast area for two reasons, "it doesn’t have vineyards, plein air landscape painting, or cute animals and the medium is etching (also called gravure or intaglio.)" This centuries old art technique from the Renaissance allows very fine line, embossed, detailed drawing.
