The works exhibited in Libations are concentric on our most precious gift in life, water. I feel compelled to share images that convey its lessons on flow, transformation, and surrender, as my life revolves primarily around aquatic endeavors. I am fascinated by the process by which connection with a liquid element invites us to the still place within ourselves. Water has been my greatest spiritual teacher: I feel more fish than girl most days. Both humans and the Earth are composed in nearly equal ratios of the stuff, suggesting that we reflect one another in perpetuity. I hope that these images invite the viewer to revere water as our communal life force, and to treat our planet as a friend perennially - not just on Earth Day of every year.
