About the Featured Artists
Patrick Adams
Patrick has twice been awarded the prestigious Al Smith Fellowship from the Kentucky Arts Council. He is represented by galleries across the United States and his paintings can be found in many private and corporate collections such as the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (Columbus, OH), Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville, FL), Hilliard Lyons (Louisville, KY), and Gaylord International Convention Center (Washington, DC). Patrick’s first solo museum exhibit opened May 5th of 2016 at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science, Evansville, IN. Patrick lives with his wife, Terre, in Lexington, KY.

Donald Archer
Donald Archer grew up in Southern California during the 1940’s and 50’s---at that time, an area of many orchards, dairy farms and rich agricultural fields. The light and space of California, the monumentality of its landscape, has left an indelible mark on his work.
In addition to numerous solo and group exhibitions in public museums and commercial galleries, Archer participates in selected fine art festivals along the west coast. He is a member emeritus of THE OAK GROUP, 26 plein-air painters committed to recording and preserving the natural beauty of California.
His work is included in collections, both public and private, throughout the United States and abroad. Donald Archer’s paintings have been featured in AMERICAN ARTIST magazine and SOUTHWEST ART magazine as well as six books.

Tom Peck
After receiving his BFA from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, Tom pursued his art as a painter and advertising creative director in Toronto, New York City and San Francisco. And, several years ago, added sculpture to his oeuvre.
Tom translates his love, and keen understanding, of the West, particularly the west coast, to his Abstract Expressionist landscape paintings. “I’ve always had a special affinity for the West. My landscape paintings are, in effect, a collection of visual clues, (colors, shapes and textures) that allow the viewer to journey to the destination I’ve created, a canyon, river valley or a coastline, and arrive at my emotion and understanding of that specific Western place. In the concept and execution of my work, I acknowledge the best of the past, while always taking risks to bring something fresh to the medium.”
Tom’s paintings and sculptures are in many private collections in the U.S.
Tom Shultz
Tom received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota at Mankato in 1968 and began doing sports murals. Initially he painted 50's cars as "an affirmation to acquire one in his own life." He loved the smooth, rounded fenders and bumpers which reminded him "a bit of a full-figured woman, the kind the old masters would paint reclining on a divan."
Tom says he can be classified as a fairly realistic painter. Tom has a natural graphic ability yet his work has been called mysterious and playful at the same time. His paintings often express his life experiences and so his subject matter continues to change and grow. Living on the Central Coast of California has inspired his landscapes. Tom feels compelled to paint the beauty and peace of his surroundings. He says, "The scope of this land and sea are endless and I seem to find a new painting around every corner and down every road."
Throughout the years Tom's work has appeared in many exhibits and publications and he has completed numerous commissions and murals. He considers himself a working artist and he looks forward to more and exciting venues to express his creativity.
