Comic-making in an hour--the basics of story-telling in pictures, practical matters (like pacing and layout)and a peek at self-publishing. All levels, including ‘non-drawers’ are
welcome and encouraged. You will make a comic in class and have a blank book to take home.

About the teacher-- Judy Johnson-Williams is a longtime artist and teacher. She has shown widely and you can check out her artwork at www.judyjohnson-williams.com She has taught students from 18 months(Mom n Me classes) to elders in the last 20 years but primarily elementary age in an art program in Oakland public schools, that she designed.
