Need to make a book to showcase your art? Want a sketchbook that has everything you want but can’t buy it at a store? You will make 3 different books forms, from a simple side bound(sewn or even stapled(to make it really easy and fast)), accordion and saddle-stitched hardcover book. All levels welcomed and you’ll take home 3 books that you made.
All materials are supplied for the class.
About the teacher-- Judy Johnson-Williams is a longtime artist and teacher. She has shown widely and you can check out her artwork at www.judyjohnson-williams.com. She has taught students from 18 months(Mom n Me classes) to elders in the last 20 years but primarily elementary age in an art program in Oakland public schools, that she designed.
