Come join Jessamyn Lynn for an exciting collage class! Romare Bearden is one of the most prolific collage artists to this day. He uses bold colors and tells stories with found images and cut and torn paper. Bold colors and playful scenes are what we will use as inspiration in this class.

Come make art together! Bring your favorite student and come prepared to make “art together”. The idea is that you are your child’s primary art teacher at home and wherever else the mood strikes. When we make art together we can spend time problem solving and expressing ourselves and building humans that can think for themselves.
Come play and learn with us! Bring your friend, your child or favorite art student... we’ll learn about artists through making art like they made!
We will provide basic materials-feel free to bring your own art kit as well!
Materials: Matte board or thick paper (can be reused cardboard) magazine clippings or vintage photographs, bold colors of construction paper, glue, optional brayer for image application. Drawing paper and pencil for thumbnail sketches.
