Art Together: Georges Seurat

In this session, we will explore the style of: Georges Seurat

• All artist levels welcome
• Join Jessamyn Lynn in making art in the style of Georges Seurat one of the leading artists in the pointillism movement. Pointillism is a painting style in which the artist uses small dots to build up color that in turn become images. This project will also cover some main points in color theory.

For Parents:

Come make art together! Bring your favorite student and come prepared to make “art together”. The idea is that you are your child’s primary art teacher at home and wherever else the mood strikes. When we make art together we can spend time problem solving and expressing ourselves and building humans that can think for themselves.

Come play and learn with us! Bring your friend, your child or favorite art student... we’ll learn about artists through making art like they made!

We will provide basic materials-feel free to bring your own art kit as well!
