Welcoming all TEENS (middle and high school ages)!
Join Artist Francene Beaman for this week long workshop. She will guide students through the process of binding their own book to filling it with their own artistic creations.
Each book will be handmade by the student, using cardboard, art application and 3D design using acrylic paint markers and personal additions of art pieces.
Goals of this workshop...
1. Book Binding
2. Exploring the Principles of Art,
3. Sketchbook tour - Students will explore various topics of self awareness and interests expressed on each page. a. Art history & styles b. Famous artists c. Personal reflection and goals
4. Techniques - Students will learn individual skills to composition and plan each page through collage, tools and paint - using creative freedoms.
5. Final Portfolio - Student will keep their book for personal references of their goals. Specifications Each book will vary in size and pages
