Join us this Saturday and Sunday for an exciting weekend of Live Art Demos by our Resident and Associate artists! Swing by Studios between 11:30am & 6:30pm on Saturday and 12-4pm on Sunday to observe talented artists at work, and sneak a peek at their creative processes!! 🎨

Artists will be working in a variety of media, including painters, printmakers, metalsmiths, weavers, and more. Participating artists include Anne Laddon, Deb Lysek, Holly Beals, Hilda Freyre, Bob Simola, Dennis Curry, Lynn Kishiyama, and Mata Iaia.

Meet our April Featured Artist, the wonderful Hilda Freyre (@hilda4art)!

The inspiration in Hilda’s subject matter derives from the notion that her scenery may be drastically different in a few years, or gone altogether. Environmental changes, overpopulation, urban growth are but a few factors that attract her to capture the current landscape. Her characteristic loose brushwork, warmth-infused surfaces, and fresh, painterly approach are evident in her body of work. 🌼 🌊

Hilda states, “I paint places that speak to my soul, that make me laugh inside and that make my heart jump with excitement.”

She brings sunshine and happiness to everyone here at Studios, and she hopes her oil paintings do the same! ☀️

Hilda's work will be featured in our front window for the month of April, and can always be found in Studio 3!
