Oil paint is the medium Penny Lentz works with, because she loves its richness and texture. Penny prefers painting on canvas and especially loves linen because of its smell. Her aim is to weave an interesting surface using paint. Penny strives to capture the beauty and the movement that she sees and feels in life—whether working from the land or from the figure.
