A. J. (Jim) Vincolisi has been photographing for more than 40 years. He worked as a photo lab technician in Chicago and Los Angeles and was a staff photographer in the California National Guard, 240th Signal Corps, based in West Los Angeles. He attended summer training at Camp San Luis Obispo. Jim approaches the art of photography with an appreciation for both the taking of the image as well as the processing and printing of that image, and applies that philosophy by processing, printing, mounting and framing his work. As Ansel Adams once said: "The taking of the image is the score and the print is the performance."
