Kabe Russell’s work begins with a photograph but then it is collaged and textured until a mystery is revealed, sometimes a conceptual statement about relationships or a surreal representation of life’s possibilities. He enjoys trying to lull his inner critic to sleep so he can rip the top of his head off and allow every aspect of his psyche to dance into the image. Kabe is a lifelong photographer that continues to be surprised by the beauty of the world and how it can be captured in the creative process.
