Deprise Brescia is a mixed media and installation artist specializing in “Transformational Energy Art”. She merges science and spirituality to create art for uplifting places and spaces. Deprise loves large format, color and texture. She uses semi precious stones and other natural materials in many of her artistic creations for the energy they bring to the work.
She earned a BA in Dance and Theatre Arts as a young adult. Her study of art abroad continued throughout the years in Europe, Asia, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Her techniques mix mediums, cultural philosophies and her experimentation with new materials has allowed an even greater transformation. Mixing ancient arts with the modern age in order to illustrate her message of “WE ARE ONE”, the underlying theme through all of her works.
The elements and great minds of influence upon her include: yoga, feng shui, crystals, grids, meditation, prayer, affirmations, semi precious stones, Kabbalah, Dr Masaru Emoto, Mother Theresa, Louise L. Hay, Wayne Dyer, Doreen Virtue, Deepak Chopra, Esther and Jerry Hicks, Malcom Gladwell, Eckhart Tolle, Paramahansa Yogananda, Jesus Christ, Carolyn Myss, Buddha and the Dalai Lama.
Deprise continues training in a variety of disciplines including: painting, sculpture, photography, videography, digital art, collage, drawing, encaustic, stone and woodwork.
