Tamara loves the animal world. And she nurtures that connection with animals by painting them. To observe their spirit and the happiness with which we respond to it is what she hopes to express. At the same time, overcoming the extremely sentimental image that comes with animals is her greatest challenge. She looks for ways to have the paint itself speak to the viewer as much as the subject matter. Her goal is to present the animals in an interesting and painterly way.
