Having totally had it with snow, ice and cold in general, Carol Tucker and her husband Jim Peterson packed up and left Colorado after 33 years heading to California's Central Coast. A graduate of the University of Colorado with a double degree in Human Communication and Theatre, Carol has always been involved in the arts: "fine art" as well as theater. She built stained glass windows for several years and painted a bit in acrylics. Carol taught theatre arts at the high school level and was Publicity Director at the Schwayder Theatre of the JCC in Glendale, CO, where she acted, sang and costumed productions.
She has worked as a caterer and event manager, and she can bake cakes too! She and her husband settled on a beautiful property in Templeton and completed a straw bale house there in 2009, where she paints, gardens, cooks, and continues her pursuit of all things creative.
